Born Liverpool 1884 of Scottish parents, stayed in Gourock. Taught at St Johns UF Sabbath School. Resided at Broomberry Villa. Seems to have emigrated to Canada and written about book keeping. Chartered Accountant. Lectured at McGill UniversityPromoted to Major. Wrote the history of the 52nd Lowland Division, Died as a result of injuries originally suffered in WW1
Served originally with Cheshire Volunteers. Joined 1/5th Argylls when in Gourock. Served in Gallipoli and Palestine. Sent home to due exhaustion. Promoted to Major. Wrote the history of the 52nd Lowland Division
