Charles Collins Miller

Born 4/11/1887. Coal Salesman living at 41 Nicholson Street, Greenock. Charles Collins Miller was killed at the German Blitz of Westburn Sugar Refinery in Greenock in May1941.

Entered service 29/9/1914 and joined Drake Battalion, serving in the Dardanelles. Was wounded in France in 1916 and twice again in 1917(gunshot wound to the shoulder) and then bullet wound to the thumb. Awarded Good Conduct Badge 27/9/1917
