Ernest Hopkins

Born in Port Glasgow 31st May 1899.

Son of  Robert Hopkins, 3 Kilmory Terrace, Port Glasgow. He was an apprentice joiner, with the Clyde Shipbuilding Coy

Fell overboard from a torpedo boat and contracted pneumonia. He died at Gillingham Royal Navy hospital.

Buried at Port Glasgow Cemetery, Scotland. Grave Reference I. 114.
