Tailors machinist, son of Abraham and Millie Freedman, 16 Bank Street, Greenock. He was Jewish. Eldest brother killed. Two other brothers injured

Attested 10/12/15. British Expeditionary Force 16/6/17. Posted missing. Killed during an attack on enemy trenches at Paschendaele Ridge.

Buried at Poelcapelle British Cemetery, Belgium. Grave Reference IV. C. 14.
