William Harms

Eldest son of Sergeant and Mrs Harms, 47 Brougham Street, Greenock and was on the staff of the London office of the National Bank of India.

Attached to Northumberland Fusiliers. He had been out on special duty when he was attacked by four huns at Arras, 4th March 1917. The deceased officer was only 20 years of age, and served his apprenticeship in the Royal Bank of Scotland. Prior to the war he was in the London office.
