With brother David - 1891 took up lands near Beresford, Manitoba.
1902 moved to 10 miles north of Battleford. (SE4-45-16)
Farmed till 1906 and revisited Scotland.
On his return to Canada became a grain buyer.
WW1 Died of pneumonia in Training camp, Brockville, Canada. Wife Elizabeth was on a ship to visit Scotland at the time. Returned immediately.

George married Elizabeth Graham Patterson FORSYTH, daughter of James FORSYTH and Elizabeth PATTERSON. (Elizabeth Graham Patterson FORSYTH was born on Aug 3, 1890 in Belhaven, Dunbar, Haddington, Scotland
